3 Things All Affiliate Marketers Need To Survive Online

3 Things All Affiliate Marketers Need To Survive Online

Every affiliate marketer is always looking for the successful market that gives the biggest paycheck. Sometimes they think it is a magic formula that is readily available for them. Actually, it is more complicated than that. It is just good marketing practices that have been proven over years of hard work and dedication.
There are tactics that have worked before with online marketing and is continuing to work in the online affiliate marketing world of today. With these top three marketing tips, you will be able to able to increase your sales and survive in the affiliate marketing online.

What are these three tactics?

1. Using unique web pages to promote each separate product you are marketing. Do not lump all of it together just to save some money on web hosting. It is best to have a site focusing on each and every product and nothing more.

Always include product reviews on the website so visitors will have an initial understanding on what the product can do to those who buys them. Also include testimonials from users who have already tried the product. Be sure that these customers are more than willing to allow you to use their names and photos on the site of the specific product you are marketing.

You can also write articles highlighting the uses of the product and include them on the website as an additional page. Make the pages attractive compelling and include calls to act on the information. Each headline should attract the readers to try and read more, even contact you. Highlight your special points. This will help your readers to learn what the page is about and will want to find out more.

2. Offer free reports to your readers. If possible position them at the very top side of your page so it they simply cannot be missed. Try to create autoresponder messages that will be mailed to those who input their personal information into your sign up box. According to research, a sale is closed usually on the seventh contact with a prospect.

Only two things can possibly happen with the web page alone: closed sale or the prospect leaving the page and never return again. By placing useful information into their inboxes at certain specified period, you will remind them of the product they thought they want later and will find out that the sale is closed. Be sure that the content is directed toward specific reasons to buy the product. Do not make it sound like a sales pitch.

Focus on important points like how your product can make life and things easier and more enjoyable. Include compelling subject lines in the email. As much as possible, avoid using the word “free” because there are still older spam filters that dumps those kind of contents into the junk before even anyone reading them first. Convince those who signed up for your free reports that they will be missing something big if they do not avail of your products and services.

3. Get the kind of traffic that is targeted to your product. Just think, if the person who visited your website has no interest whatsoever in what you are offering, they will be among those who move on and never come back. Write articles for publication in e-zines and e-reports. This way you can locate publications that is focusing on your target customers and what you have put up might just grab their interest.

Try to write a minimum of 2 articles per week, with at least 300-600 words in length. By continuously writing and maintaining these articles you can generate as many as 100 targeted readers to your site in a day.
Always remember that only 1 out of 100 people are likely to buy your product or get your services. If you can generate as much as 1,000 targeted hits for your website in a day, that means you can made 10 sales based on the average statistic.

The tactics given above does not really sound very difficult to do, if you think about it. It just requires a little time and an action plan on your part.

Try to use these tips for several affiliate marketing programs. You can end maintaining a good source of income and surviving in this business that not all marketers can do.
Besides, think of the huge paychecks you will be receiving…

How To Become An SEO Ninja

How To Become An SEO Ninja

Every website listed in the search engines has a position, or ‘ranking’, and each one of these rankings can change very quickly, in some cases as often as weekly or even daily. One day your website’s in a good position, then the next you’re wondering what happened to it. Staying on top of this situation is a must for any SEO professional – you need to become a search engine ninja. If that’s what you want to do, then you need to keep these things in mind at all times:

1. Good SEO requires frequent updates and ranking checks.

You might have a good spot today, but all it takes is for a few new sites to open, and before you know it you’re back down at the bottom. If you pay attention to your rankings, then you have a shot at fixing things that go wrong before your rankings fall too far.

2. You should check all your links weekly to make sure they work.

Maintain high-quality, relevant reciprocal links and check them weekly to make sure they’re working. Remove any dead links, as search engine crawlers may mark you down if they find them on your site.

3. Tweak and assess your website on a daily basis.

You need to continually assess and tweak your listing to keep your site in its proper place – that is, at the top. This ensures that your site is in the best position possible, and helps you keep your competitive edge.

4. Maintain the content on your website.

Update your content weekly at the very least, to make sure that search engine crawlers come back frequently. Even the smallest changes will be picked up on by the search engines and will help to maintain your ranking. If you can’t write, find someone who can: you need content.

5. Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in SEO.

If you can’t decide what you should be doing or you don’t want to keep up with SEO on your own, you could consider hiring a specialist. Consulting with an SEO specialist will still allow you to make your own changes to your website and learn which things work best, but you’ll have someone to answer your questions if you need them.

You should review your SEO techniques at least every few months, to see how the algorithms have changed and to devise new plans and strategies for increasing your rankings based on those changes. Any SEO ninja will tell you that there are only really two major search engines that you need to worry about: Google and Yahoo. You can do well even if you only have the time or energy to focus on these two engines. Being an SEO ninja is hard work, but it can be very rewarding if you’ve got the dedication for it.

7 Steps Of Mega Adsense Earners

7 Steps Of Mega Adsense Earners
The Google AdSense program is like finding money in the street.

Kids in High School are making thousands of dollars a month with Adsense... Housewives, Retiree's, Mom and Pop's who've never made a dime on the Internet have created full time incomes by simply placing AdSense Ads on their web site or blog.

Then you have the "Super AdSense" earners. We have all heard of them... the Elite few who are on track to make half a million dollars a year or more promoting AdSense sites.

Do not be mistaken though... these people are not building like your Mom and Pop's do. They have systems in place that create sites for them... people who build sites for them... they have outsourced and automated many of the tedious tasks such as posting to blogs and searching for keywords.

While most people cannot emulate everything these Super AdSense earners do... many of them you can.

Here are 7 Required Steps you can implement today to copy their success.

1) Starting today... treat your AdSense business like it is a REAL business and track what you do.

Begin tracking what you are doing that works... as well as what you are doing that does not work. This will keep you from making the same mistakes over and over, and you can repeat the steps that have worked in the past. As simple as this step seems... most people do not know the reason(s) to their success or failure.

2) Utilize the latest tools and software available.

The Super AdSense earners are not any smarter than your average person. I know many people think they are... but for the most part, they are regular non techie people.

They are smarter in one respect though... they use the latest tools available to them to automate most of the tasks involved with researching and creating sites. They use the latest keyword, site creation and search engine optimization tools available. The tools they use are their secret weapons.

3) Quit chasing the Mega Dollar keywords.

You cannot compete with the search engine experts who create sites for the $80 payout keywords. You may get lucky every now and then... but in the long run, you are better off building sites for the low to mid range payout keywords. The competition is less, and your chance of success is much higher over the long term.

4) Choose broad niches and break it down.

Choose a broad subject as your main theme (lets use computers for an example). From there... break it down into as many sub niches as possible.

Using Computers as the example... you could build sub niches/sites like laptop computers, computer hard drives, computer keyboards, etc, etc. You could literally build hundreds of sites around one major theme and stay totally focused. Once you have exhausted every possible sub niche of that major theme... choose another main theme and repeat the process.

5) KISS

Keep your sites easy to navigate and forget the fancy graphics that distract your visitors attention. Unless you are just building AdSense sites for the fun of it and to impress your friends... the purpose of having the site is to have people click on one of the ads, right? Then keep the site layout simple... dump the scrolling banners, dancing chickens and colored scroll bars... they are distractions.

6) What is the purpose of your web site?

Your web site cannot be everything to everybody. If you have a full fledged ecommerce site, with products for sale... links to other products, it is not a good site for AdSense. If the primary focus of the site is to sell products... let it do that.

Do not distract or confuse your visitor with to many options or choices. The best AdSense sites are AdSense only content sites that sell nothing. They are sites that "Tell"... not "Sell."

7) Be consistent.

This is not one of those deals where you build one site and you are done. Refer back to Step #4. You must continuously build in order to be successful.

Think of it as planting a crop that you will harvest in a month or two, and the sites you build are seeds. Once the seeds have grown and matured... you will reap the harvest. The more seeds you plant... the larger the harvest.

To sum it up... utilize the tools available to automate as much of the process of building sites - doing research and building keyword lists as you can. This alone will help keep you organized and on track. Be consistent in building... treat it like the business it is and you will reap the rewards of your harvest.

The Missing Link - 4 Crucial Types of Backlinks

The Missing Link - 4 Crucial Types of Backlinks

oogle Webmaster Tools says that in order to gain Page Rank (a way of gaging website authority, PR is gaged from 0-10, 10 being highest) you should have high quality sites linking to yours, which is termed a backlink. A backlink is simply a link to your website from another website.

There are several types of link building strategies and all of them should be utilized to optimize your sites for the search engines which in turn will increase our traffic, so build links everyday

1. Relevant/Reciprocal Link Exchange

Reciprocal links are where you exchange links with sites that are relevant to yours. AS far as Google is concerned relevance equals quality as far as a backlink is concerned.

There are some webmasters who exchange links with any and all sites. But if you have a website about weight loss, how helpful is it for your visitors to see a link to a car auction site? This is a weak link and a useless waste of time and looks lame on your website! Build links for your visitors and not for ranks and your site will be rewarded.

The two most important factors in finding reciprocal link exchange partners are relevance and Page Rank, relevance being first important and page rank second. If you can get both then that's great. If you're site is new higher rank pages are hard to get, so don't worry about it and just look for relevance.

Where you place links on your site is important and can be done in several ways. While many still use a links page, this method is not the best option. These days search engines place less value on links pages and when you think about it, how good is a links page for your site and its visitors?

A better option is to place your links and get the reciprocal site to place links as hyperlinks within the content on your site with relevant anchor keywords. This method looks better, provides a natural flow of links and gets more link juice from the search engines and especially Google.

The key to link building on your sites is to make the link look like a side effect and not the end goal.

2. One Way Links

A one-way link is where you get a link to your site from another site without having to place a link back. Of course, one-way links hold the most juice with search engines.

When your site is new it is unlikely that you will get relevant high PR sites to give you a one-way link, unless of course you provide great content or a link bait (explained below).

Natural One-Way Link Building through Content

One of the best ways to get one way links is the natural link method which can be obtained by posting fresh original content on your sites that is so good it makes other websites want to link to it. Good content, which should all ready be a first priority for your visitors and visitor retention, will facilitate natural one-way links.

Link Bait

Another great way to build one way backlinks is to use a link bait on your site. This is the method of choice to get get higher page rank sites to link to lower page rank sites. Link Bait is basically any content or feature within a website that somehow baits viewers to place links to it from other websites. These link baits could be, information hooks, news hooks, humor hooks, tools hooks like a widget or some helpful tool that other sites can use.

Article Marketing and submitting your sites to Internet Directories are very effective ways to get one-way links.

3. 3-Way Links

3-ways: Site A points to Site B and Site B points to Site C and Site C points back to Site A. The point is to try to make reciprocals look like one-ways, this method really doesn't have much value and I don't recommend it.

4. Outbound Links

Outbound links are the websites you link to or site as references within content. Whatever your niche there authority and other helpful sites for your visitors and and those are the sites that you want to link to.

Some webmasters are so afraid of losing traffic or giving up their link juice that you hardly ever see outbound links on their sites, this is a big mistake.

Outbound links are a necessary part of establishing your authority within your niche and a vital part of your Internet Marketing efforts. They are a vital part of any website/blog and their existence or non-existence can determine whether high-authority, high page rank sites would ever link to you, mainly because if you are not consistently seeking out new information and intelligence within your niche and citing those sources they will view your website as stale and out of date.

Take a look at the authority sites within your niche, they all have outbound links and references. It is impossible to provide really useful information without offering other sites that can benefit your visitors.

In conclusion, it is crucial for any Internet Marketing Campaign to build links everyday. This is the main way that Google can establish authority, relevance and importance to your websites and is at the center of the search engine optimization strategy.

Do You Want Your Site Visible on Search Engines?

Do You Want Your Site Visible on Search Engines?

Here are few tips to get rank top on best search engines.
Use your keyword phrase in headlines: Headline tags (h1, h2, h3, etc.) are a great place to use your keyword phrase and secondary keywords. Search engines recognize that headlines are more important than the surrounding text, and so assign greater value to keywords found there.
Use your keyword phrase in anchor text of links: Link text is another great place to put your keyword phrase. Links stand out on most Web pages, and so are given higher priority than surrounding text.
Ask other people for links to your page: A great way to get inbound links is to simply ask for them. But remember that excessive cross-linking can be viewed as spammy, so be careful about trading links or otherwise buying links on external sites.
Try to get your keyword phrase inside incoming links: Inbound links are a great way to improve your page rank. But you can't really control how people link to your pages. Chances are they won't use a phrase that has anything even remotely close to your keyword phrase. Remember that they are doing you a favor by linking to you. If it makes sense, you can ask them to change the text of the link, but be careful, as people can be very touchy, and you might just get your link removed.
Try to get links from reputable sites: Reputable sites that link to you will increase your reputation. After all, if a reputable site feels that your site is valuable enough to link to, that means that your page has more value. You can tell if a site is considered reputable both by how high it appears in search engines and it's Google PageRank. Also, .edu sites have a higher reputation because they represent schools and universities.
Try to get links from similar sites: Inbound links from sites similar to your own are important as well. This indicates that your site does have content related to that topic. Plus, it indicates that your competition finds your site valuable, and that gives your site more credibility.
Try to get links from .edu, and .gov sites: Sites that are on .edu and .gov top-level domains have a large amount of credibility because they are very difficult to get. So if you can get the designers of those sites to link to you that gives your site more credibility as well.
Create as much content as you can: Content is king. The more content you have on your site, the more there is to be indexed and appear in search engines.
Keep your site live as long as possible: Older pages (at the same domain) will rank higher than newer ones.

Increase AdSense Earning by 400%

Increase AdSense Earning by 400%

Google uses its search technology to serve ads based on website content, the user's geographical location, and other factors. Those wanting to advertise with Google's targeted ad system may sign up through AdWords. AdSense has become a popular method of placing advertising on a website because the ads are less intrusive than most banners, and the content of the ads is often relevant to the website.

Many sites use AdSense to monetize their content. AdSense has been particularly important for delivering advertising revenue to small sites that do not have the resources for developing advertising sales programs and salespeople. To fill a site with ads that are relevant to the topics discussed, webmasters implement a brief script on the sites' pages. Sites that are content rich have been very successful with this advertising program, as noted in a number of publisher case studies on the AdSense site.

I have been running the Google AdSense adverts on a number of my websites for around a year now. I have to admit that I am nowhere near the stage when I would be able to consider retiring on its income. I am quite envious of these people that you read about who are saying that they are earning two thousand dollars a week on the program but am fairly sure that most people would be happy to earn six hundred dollars a month.

I wanted to find ways of attracting more visitors to these websites which in turn I believed would help me to increase my adsense earnings. I also thought about having a number of new sites built for the same reasons.

There are many ways in which you can blend the adverts into your website by choosing a particular colour for the ads as an example. Placement of the ads is also quite important and there is information on the Google site which advises where to put the adverts for maximum impact.
1. You should put more ads on your older pages and less or no ads on new pages.
2. Content targeting
3. SEO

Now SEO is the most important in all of the above. Idea is that more popular your site, more visitor, more clicks, more earnings.

Question is that how to increase site popularity to earn more. You can do following to gain popularity.

1. Try Google AdWords
2. Purchase text links
3. Write articles
4. Link Exchange
5. Directory Submission

Directory Submission is very reliable solution to gain link popularity because by doing this you will get good one way inbound link pointing to your website and Google love it.

I am running a website, I have submitted it to a new Web Directory , I have found this directory in Google search. This is not a free directory but it is the best. They will charge you $ 5.0 for submission and will index your site in 48 hours but I got my site indexed in less than 24 hours. And the best part they will also submit your site 50 other web directories. So will get more then 50 inbound links.

Before doing this my site was on fifth page on Google search, but now after getting 51 more inbound link it is on first page. This is the power on link popularity in Search Engine Optimization. Now my AdSense earnings are on fire, on an average in am earning three figure money daily.

I want to share this amazing web directory with you guys, They will charge you only $5 online and you site will listed for a life time and their approval process so fast the I have got my site listed in less then 24 hours. Believe me $5 is nothing for 51 inbound links in SEO Industry. If will go to any SEO Company for 50 directory submission they will charge you somewhere between 25-50 USD. This directory is tried and tested by me so I will advise you all to try this directory to blast your AdSense earnings. Here is the URL.

Seven Ways to Generate Income From Your Website

Seven Ways to Generate Income From Your Website

If you own your own website, there are a variety of things you can do to generate extra income for yourself. To enjoy the most success for your efforts, you must take into consideration your existing website content, as well as your particular target audience. You will also want to know the approximate number of visitors you regularly receive to your website.

Once you have this information, you can decide which idea (or ideas) will apply best to you:

1. Include Google Adsense on your web pages. Google delivers text and image ads that are targeted to your site and its content. When people click on an ad, you will receive a portion of the amount paid to Google by the advertiser. On average, you can expect to receive anywhere between 2 cents to a dollar per click, depending on the keyword.

2. Make money selling other people's products and services through affiliate programs. Each program you register for should provide you with an affiliate link to track your referrals. Depending on the program, you will normally be paid on a per sale basis or for each sign-up you generate.

3. Sell advertising space on your web site. You could sell banner and/or classified ads. If you want to make additional money, sell sponsor ads and place them is a special section or towards the top of your website for the most exposure.

4. If you have enough web space available on your server, you could rent web pages to other people. You could also give the web pages away for free, but include your banner or advertisement on them to generate income for yourself.

5. Charge people a fee to access a dedicated part of your website. People will pay you money for your website content if it's valuable to them. The content can be ebooks, reports, software, etc.

6. Sell your own products or services. Of course, they should be related to your target audience. You will also want the ability to securely accept credit card payments directly from your website. Other forms of payment such as PayPal, ClickBank, etc. is also preferred. Delivery of your product should be as fast as possible.

7. Publish an e-zine from your website. Have people subscribe to the e-zine right from your web site. In addition to direct sales of products or services you are promoting, you could sell classified or sponsor advertising inside your e-zine.

Each of these ideas will generate income, but if you are a new website owner, I recommend starting with Google Adsense. These ads continue to grow in popularity and are easy to customize and install on your web pages-simply copy and paste a block of HTML.

For new internet home business entrepreneurs, in addition to Google Ads, you should also consider affiliate programs. Most affiliate programs are free to join and usually offer marketing tools and resources that are readily available for your use.

It takes more than wishful thinking in order to land one of your pages in the top 10 of Google, but once you understand the criteria of what is involved, you can increase the likelihood for each of your pages if you start with the goal in mind.

Rankings are based on algorithms, therefore if you are operating within the guidelines of the formula, certain results are produced consistently as a by-product of what comprises your pages.

Outlined below are a few examples of Seo Web Design including clearly defined on-page SEO principles known for producing top 10 results. The first component to ranking in the top 10 results in major search engines is:

Meta Tag Optimization:

Keyword stuffing (adding all of your keywords in the title, description and on the page) is a thing of the past. Not only will it blatantly get your red flagged from search engines, the human readers will have such a difficult time attempting to get the gist of your topic, you may as well say "please click the back button and leave my site" to save them the hassle.

Don't stuff your keywords in the meta tags, keep your title on topic and short and sweet succinct title always works better than trying to stuff every possible keyword under the sun in one long / truncated title.

There is nothing more unattractive than words getting cut off in mid sentence, or even worse having to look at the dreaded pipes | keyword stuffing | stuffing even more keywords | even more ridiculous keyword stuffing, etc. No name calling here, but if you are using still using this technique for search engine optimization, it's time to cut the mullet and move into 2007 where things have changed a bit and people actually click on the title based on the emotional response they receive from the message.

In this way, it's not always having to be first on the page that matters (despite popular opinion), it's who's title is the most compelling that gets the click.

The Description Tag:

Depending on the strength of your website, you can rank for a keyword that is (a) in the title of the page (b) on your pages (in the body text or links) or (c) in the description tag alone. It's more about the overall combination of these on-page factors that determine the ranking potential within each search engine, as they all have their own criteria for awarding relevance and relative positioning when a query is executed.

Your web page description should be concise and try to use actual search terms in your description (something most SEO companies won't divulge). Any SEO worth their salt knows, that if you want to rank for a specific term, having the "exact match form" of that key phrase in your title and description increases your ranking potential for that term.

Keep the keywords with a higher priority closer to the front of the sentence and try not to go over 250 characters. This keeps your pages focused as well as makes each of the words more potent for ranking. The more words you use, the less potent they become. So once again, the short and sweet version works wonders for a two-fold purpose (1) the visitor, because it indicates to them what they can expect once they arrive and (2) the web bots and search engine spiders, that place a great deal of emphasis on the words in the title or in description data.

Optimizing your Hyper links:

First of all a hyper link for those who are unfamiliar with the term is a fancy way to say link that includes the URL (universal resource locater) otherwise known as website or web address inside. Links can be used for internal purposes (within your site otherwise known as navigation i.e. link architecture) or for external purposes such as linking to another website you enjoy or endorse.

If the links are leaving you website and going to another site they are considered forward links or if your website receives a link from another site they are called back links. In either capacity the way that the strength of a link is assessed is from the anchor text or text comprising the link states. So, instead of using click here for a forward link an optimized version of that would contain a keyword which carries tremendous weight in search engines when referencing what the topic of the page the link leads to, as well as add addition ranking potential to the page that the link is located on.

Hyper link optimization plays a major role in SEO. By understanding the role that links play in search engine optimization, you can understand how to improve the rankings on each of your respective pages, by following a few simple guidelines.

If you can envision your website as an island, the only thing bringing in traffic are the bridges that connect it to the surrounding land masses. Without those bridges (inbound links) to connect it then then how fruitful can you expect it to be?

If you have links coming into a page, say 20 for example and 30 links leaving that page, you are in essence dispersing the link juice or ranking power for that page to the 30 pages you link to. Having a good internal to external link ratio is one of the foremost aspect of SEO, but realizing that you should try to keep your links on topic and use keywords you wish to rank for in the text of the link to make the most of each link on your pages.

Optimization of Alt Tags | Alternative Text Tags:

Since web bots and spiders can not parse the data in an image or flash to determine what the image is, Alt tags allow webmasters to create a clear description of what the contents of the image are. If you have an image showcasing your company headquarters an ideal way to utilize the alt tag from this image would be a company name headquarters, city, state. This way you could obtain the maximum value for this image as a contributing factor to your overall rankings with regional references as well as using the company name to reinforce your brand.

In the past, this was one of the most abused forms or search engine optimization and fell more along the lines of search engine manipulation. Companies would stuff every keyword possible in the alt tags in over inflate relevance for their keywords instead of simply creating content with value. Filters have been added to search engines to eliminate websites utilizing such tactics, but you would be surprised to note how many webmasters still use this technique. Fortunate for us and unfortunately for them, it nearly results in penalties in rankings every time pushing them lower on the totem pole for achieving top 10 rankings if even top 100 results.

Optimization of your Website Content:

Optimization of your website copy otherwise known as content or words is the most important factor for ranking. Without going into too much detail, it is safe to say that the higher quality of content your pages have, the better they rank in search engines.

The reason is simple, think of the web spider as your friendly neighborhood reporter who is always looking to be the Johny on the spot to report the latest and greatest headlines to the web at large. These programs are more than just reporters, they have been designed to emulate human behavior and crawl through your pages much like a real human would. They follow links, take notes and even more so, if they like your content they come around more often to see if you have refreshed your data.

Knowing this it is important to write your pages for humans, since they actually pay the bills, but also to understand that you can create compelling text for the search engines to index as well. This is accomplished through word density, which is another fancy pants way of saying how many times a word appears on a page, and how close it is to other keywords that you have outlined as important within the document (using your links, titles and descriptions).

To add even more emphasis to a group of words for on page optimization, you can employ the header tags h1, h2, h3, and so on to reference the priority for those phrases or keywords on your pages. We explore specific uses of header tags at a later time, but the purpose for now is just to provide an overview of the basic elements involved in SEO Web Design.

Content truly is king, so the best way to grab the attention of the Google bot is to write world class content and sprinkle in optimization tactics for optimal effectiveness.

Site maps - What they are and how to use them:

A site map is essentially an index of the pages comprising your website. There are two different types of site maps;

(1) An HTML site map that is used for human visitors to find relevant pages and (2) an XML site map that is designed for spiders to connect the dots and find your entire website when it is performing indexing to create a snapshot of the contents.

Every page on your site should have 2 things in order to be taken seriously from the major search engines. Your site map and your privacy policy. Another thing you might wish to note, that if your physical street address is missing in action (in your contact page) on your website, your listings will probably have the same effect from Yahoo and some of the other engines. Penalties come in different shapes and sizes, so to avoid them it is better to be proactive and incorporate these three elements right from the start.

An HTML site map is nothing more than the link to your page with a brief description following it. This alone can affect where and how your page is ranked in the grand scheme of things. An XML site map on the other hand is something which is placed at the server level that spiders and web bots access (much like your robots.txt file) when looking for data to report back to the web.

I think that about wraps it up for this overview of the basics fundamentals of SEO Web Design, stay tuned in the future when we outline specific ranking strategies and methods that you can apply to your pages to optimize them using the principles that search engines are keen to respond to. The last thing you want to do is omit creating engaging content, after all, what good is SEO if after they arrive they just click and run as a result of lackluster content. But that is another article in it's entirety.

How To Monetize Your Web Site with Google Adsense & Affiliate Marketing by Anne-Marie RONSEN

How To Monetize Your Web Site with Google Adsense & Affiliate Marketing by Anne-Marie RONSEN

One of the best ways to monetize your site is with Google Adsense, however if you don't have the content or the on site optimization your traffic will trickle in and the ads that Google might send you won't be worth that much.

One way to make sure you maximize your Google Adsense profits is to subscribe to services that specifically tailor their content for Google Adsense and create page layouts and templates that benefit the web developer. With content management services, you can increase your traffic, click through rate and increase the profit you make on each paid advertisement.

Selling affiliate products is another important strategy that can result in profits. Not only should you spend lots of time looking for great affiliate products, you should join affiliate sites that sell many products and services that consumers want most. Some of these affiliate sites include Amazon.com and Clickbank. These affiliate sites sell either real world products or information products such as ebooks and software.

Besides choosing the right affiliate sites, it is also important to make sure that your web content matches the products you sell. It should be noted that there are a few services that have done this legwork for you and have matched content with consumer friendly products that pay out high commission rates for web developers.

Optimization is extremely important and is a great way to get free advertising and visitors from the search engines. Most web sites generate the most traffic from search engine indexes such as Google, Yahoo, MSN, etc. You can increase the traffic you receive from these search engines by optimizing your site with keyword density and links. Keyword density means that the content on your web page has a specific amount of a certain keyword or keyword phrase. When visitors look for information, they usually type in a keyword like "life insurance". You can build web pages that have keyword densities or a percentage of keywords or phrases on a page that match a specific term. The proper keyword percentage is usually 2% to 5% of a web page.

Affiliate programs also help in improving inward linking. In affiliate schemes, you provide incentives (usually a commission on the sale of your product or service) for other websites to become affiliates (i.e. carriers). These affiliates then generate you direct traffic; the added bonus comes in the form of those inward links to your site. Affiliate Programs create powerful alliances between your web site and your various "affiliate" web sites. Providing affiliate links to your website would improve your website's search engine ranking. It makes your website more visible to crawlers.

Building links is another way to improve how high you rank on a search engine index. Links consist of your hyperlink of your web site that is posted onto another web site. The more links of your web site that can be found throughout the internet on other sites, usually the higher you will rank in the search engines. Other factors apply such as types of links and where your links are posted.

Not only is Google Adsense a great way to monetize your web site, but you should also diversify and sell affiliate products on your site. Selling an affiliate product is simple and usually requires the web developer to sign up to be an affiliate and sell a specific product of his or her choice. Usually web developers sell affiliate products that are relevant to their web site. For instance, if you have created a web site on gardening, you might want to sell an ebook on gardening tips, gardening tools from an online store such as Amazon.com or other affiliate sites. The web developer gets paid when one of their visitors buys a product through the affiliate link on their web site.

One of the ways many web developers monetize their web sites is with both Google Adsense and affiliate marketing. Google Adsense is an extremely effective way to turn traffic to one's web site into a steady income producing enterprise. Affiliate marketing is an extremely simple and very low labor intensive way to generate sales on your site. If you already have an established website and traffic or would like to build a web site to use Google Adsense and affiliate marketing, here are some tips on getting the most out of it.

There are definitely specific strategies that work better than others when trying to monetize your web site with Google Adsense, a few of them include, content management and optimization of your web page and site.

In the early years, having decent content on your web site was more than enough to draw lots of traffic to your web site, however times have changed. Today, there is much more competition regarding content and in order to drive traffic to your web site, you have to make sure you have high quality content that is focused on specific topics that people are looking for. While some topics have too much competition when it comes to web sites, many smaller web developers have turned to niche sites that focus on less popular topics that have less competition for traffic. If you are building a new web site, you will probably do the best with niches and in some cases micro niches. Many web developers put lots of time and effort into choosing the topics that they build their web site around.

Besides having quality content, you will need to optimize your website to rank high in the search engine indexes. Some optimization techniques include keyword density and linking with other sites.

Adding Google Adsense to your article site is easy, because Google easily figures out which keywords your site is optimized for and then tailors ads that may be interesting to your visitors. Besides Google Adsense or in conjunction with Adsense, you can also add other types of paid advertisements, possibly from a large online florist (for a rose web site) or even a neighborhood florist, if your site is optimized for a specific region.

Adding Affiliate Products is also a great way to monetize your site and create a profitable article site. Promoting affiliate products is a great way to earn more than just with Google Adsense or paid advertisers, with a quality affiliate product, you can make $10, $20 or even $50 or more, just on one sale of a product. Article web sites that can draw lots of traffic can easily reap affiliate commissions and make thousands every month.

Having a linking strategy is extremely important. Of course you can work on your own and create your own links and develop your own relationships or you can join special services that automatically build links within your web pages and send you lots of reciprocal and one way back links that ultimately raise your page rank and drive traffic to your sites. For many web developers, it can take months to build a network of links for just one web site, one of the newer trends is to already have a large network of links mapped out and ready to go to help out web developers drive up their page rank and traffic.

As an affiliate marketer, the web developer only has to advertise, promote and generate the sale of the affiliate product; they do not have to worry about processing a payment, inventory or shipping the product out making this technique a low cost and less time consuming way to monetize your web site.

Pay Per Click - YES, NO or Maybe by Anne-Marie RONSEN

Pay Per Click - YES, NO or Maybe by Anne-Marie RONSEN

Having a website is not enough to make your business running. You must take other alternatives to give way for the online community to access your website at any rate or chance possible.

PPC means Pay Per Click. It gives way advertising on a search engine. These are sponsored listings that you see whenever you make a search. There will be a charge whenever a visitor or web surfer clicks on any of your ads. There will first be a bidding process. The highest bidder for the price per click will definitely get the chance to be first listed in the search engine.

Pay per click (PPC) is a means to advertise business through the use of keywords/phrases in the search engines. The advertiser is required to only pay for each click that sends a visitor to his website. Search engines such as Overture, Google Adwords, Search Yahoo and Miva are just some examples of search engines.

PPC search engine advertising is by far the most affordable form of advertising available. PPC search engine advertising is a flourishing business that by 2008 is expected to reach $ 8 billion. PPC search engine advertising is about producing leads. Creating leads will help potential buyers find the specific website that will provide them with the product or service they need.

With this kind of advertising, you can still basically control your campaign as you get to create your own ad. You will also manage the target audience and still stay within the bounds of your budget. Most of the providers of PPC advertising will allow you to specify the target market, either by topic, industry or geographical location. You can also very well check if your ad gets to be shown at all and if it is competitive with the rest.

There are some guaranteed benefits when you get to maximize the PPC strategy.

1. PPC lets you advertise to the whole of the online community. It is also relatively easy to set up.

2. At first glance, PPC advertising may seem very expensive. Could it possibly happen that someone out there will go on clicking on your ad? This will definitely give you a large bill without the expected profit on your part. If this provides a lot of worries, be rest assured that there is a protection for you. Networks are able to recognize fraudulent clicks.

3. You can also set a budget for a certain period. The moment your budget has been used up by the target number of clicks, your ads will no longer be displayed until the next period you want it again displayed.

4. You will also be able to adjust well to changes in market demands and trends.

In deciding which of the two strategies will work right for you, think of your goals and of your resources. They definitely offer benefits and advantages that will work for your good. The better way to approach this two is to evaluate according to your short term and long term plans. Take the PPC course for your short term goals and choose SEO if you have long term ones.

There world is out there for you now. Just make sure you do what will work best for your entrepreneurial endeavors and visions. The secret to success lies in your hands. Just study your options well and you'll get exactly what you want.

How Do I Get My Site to The Top of Search Engines? by Anne-Marie RONSEN

How Do I Get My Site to The Top of Search Engines? by Anne-Marie RONSEN

Your website's ranking on search engines is a vital element of your overall marketing campaign, and there are ways to improve your link popularity through legitimate methods. Since search engines are the first stop for people on the Internet looking for goods or services, the position your website appears in search results is an important factor.

Before you go out and hire a search engine optimization company, try taking some of the simple steps listed bellow, and see if you can't boost your rankings yourself.

- Create a site with valuable content, products or services. And, make sure your site is fully operational before you have it submitted - Do NOT submite a site that is under construction or having just one page.

- Don't use the automatic submission services. Beware of companies that promise automatic submission of your website to hundreds of search engines which are but only false promises. The best way to submit your website for search engine ranking and inclusion is to do it yourself or to hire an expert to do it manually, by contacting the search engine companies and directories (i.e. http://www.WebDirectoryBank.com).

- Submit the domain or URL that have content in the corect format (http://www.mydomain.com - some directories accept it without http://)

- Take the time and choose the most appropriate category. Don't make the mistake of selecting the category too fast without checking if there would be a more relevant category.

- Check for broken links and correct HTML and avoid hidden text or hidden links.

- Pay attention to your keywords. Research and use the right keywords/phrases to attract your target customers. Keywords are the foundation bricks of the entire search engine system, and they demand individual scrutiny in your monitoring efforts.

- Use keywords in page titles itself. The actual text you use in the title tag is one of the most important factors in how a search engine may decide to rank your web page. In addition, all major web crawlers will use the text of your title tag as the text they use for the title of your page in your listings.

- Ensure that each page on your website has appropriate titles and keywords so that your customer can find their way back to your site if they lose the book mark.

- Select words or phrases that target a niche segment. Use the advanced tools available to create a list of relevant keywords which do not attract too much competition in your niche segment.

- Try to use text instead of images to display important names, content, or links. The Search Engines crawler doesn't recognize text contained in images.

- Don't create multiple pages, subdomains, or domains with substanially duplicate content. Google's algorithm really does take notice of duplicate content. Provide unique, relevant and fresh content to your users with a good grammar, correct spelling, and sentence structure.

- Use reports and logs from your web hosting company to see where your traffic is coming from. Analyze your visitor location and their incoming sources whether search engines or links from other sites and the keywords they used to find you.

- Write 10 highly informative and unique articles about the topic of your website. Demonstrate your industry and product or service expertise by writing and submitting articles for your website or for article banks so you are perceived as an expert in your field. When not sure, hire professionals. Though it may seem costly, but it is a lot less expensive than spending your money on a website which no one visits.

- REGULARLY UPDATE YOUR WEB PAGES. Search engine spiders love constantly updated content. Any changed to your source code would register in the search engines' systems, and their spiders would crawl through your website with priority the next time a relevant query is made.

Increase Targeted Web Traffic - Getting Loads Of Targeted Visitors With Long-Tail Keywords by Serge Daudelin

Increase Targeted Web Traffic - Getting Loads Of Targeted Visitors With Long-Tail Keywords by Serge Daudelin

One of the things that will make a site super successful, is the ability to provide relevant information to your visitors. This isn't as easy at it sounds, but it is vital to the success of a website. If a visitor arrives at your site looking for particular information, and they don't get it, they will hit the back button.

Let's take an example in the barbecue niche.

You might have a page about "BBQ smokers".

That's great, but what if someone is looking for plans to build a BBQ smoker, and they arrive at your page which basically describes what a smoker is, or how it works? Would they be targeted? Would they likely stay on your site, and follow your call to action (whether it is clicking an affiliate link, or clicking an Adsense ad)? Probably not. The information is not targeted enough for that visitor.

If you created a page that was targeted to that visitor, then there is a good chance they would at least read your page, and follow your call to action. The more targeted the information, the better your conversion rates.

In this example, writing an article on plans for a BBQ smoker would be the way to go. However, the big problem is actually finding these specific phrases in the first place.

This type of phrase is often called the long-tail. They tend to have less competition, and fewer searches, but they are vital to the success of a site, and allow you to cater for a wider audience, providing highly relevant information to each visitor.

One way to find these long-tail keywords is to look through your log files. Look for the phrases that people use to find your pages, and then create content that is more targeted to their requests.
