A: IMPORTANT: You can not pay a search engine in exchange for a high ranking in the natural results. You can get a high if your content is deemed relevant by the search engines.

A: There are four stages:
Step 1 - Use the right words on your site
Step 2 - Get lots of relevant sites to link to yours
Step 3 - Use the right words in these links
Step 4 - Have a lot of your content and add more regularly

Q: What is search engine optimization (SEO)?

A: Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is the art of creating a Web site that is search engine. That means:
1. using the right words in your copy
2. using the right words in your HTML
3. structure your site correctly
4. design your site

Q: What is the link popularity?

A: Think of the search engines as a big election. All sites in the world are candidates. The backlinks are votes. The more votes (links) a candidate (website) has, the more important it is, the higher its ranking. Link popularity is all about the number of links you have, and how you can get more.
Links to your site on search engines to tell how your site is important. They assume that if it ¡| s important enough to many other sites to link to it ¡| s important enough for them to appear at the top of the ranking. Links are the most important factor in the ranking. In general, the more you link to your site from other sites, the higher your ranking.

Q: Are there any links better than others?

A: Yes! Ideally, such as those related to:
1. from relevant sites (sites that use the same keywords);
2. comes from important sites (have a good ranking);
3. include your keyword within the text link;
4. includes various link text (not the same link text each time), and
5. comes from a page that contains links to several other sites.

When a search engine sees a link that meets most or all of these conditions, she said, Hey, this site must be credible and important, because others in the same sector are pointing towards it.

Q: How do I get lots of links to my site?

A: There are several possible ways to generate links. Some are dubious (like auto-generation software and sites set up by webmasters simply to host links to other sites) and I won’ t discussed here. Others, such as those discussed below, are legitimate.

A: The Google Sandbox theory suggests that whenever Google detects a new website, it withholds its rightful ranking for a period while it determines whether your site is a genuine, credible, long term site. It does this to discourage the creation of SPAM websites (sites which serve no purpose other than to boost the ranking of some other sites).

One of the things that will make a site super successful, is the ability to provide relevant information to your visitors. This isn't as easy at it sounds, but it is vital to the success of a website. If a visitor arrives at your site looking for particular information, and they don't get it, they will hit the back button.

Let's take an example in the barbecue niche.

You might have a page about "BBQ smokers".

That's great, but what if someone is looking for plans to build a BBQ smoker, and they arrive at your page which basically describes what a smoker is, or how it works? Would they be targeted? Would they likely stay on your site, and follow your call to action (whether it is clicking an affiliate link, or clicking an Adsense ad)? Probably not. The information is not targeted enough for that visitor.

If you created a page that was targeted to that visitor, then there is a good chance they would at least read your page, and follow your call to action. The more targeted the information, the better your conversion rates.

In this example, writing an article on plans for a BBQ smoker would be the way to go. However, the big problem is actually finding these specific phrases in the first place.

This type of phrase is often called the long-tail. They tend to have less competition, and fewer searches, but they are vital to the success of a site, and allow you to cater for a wider audience, providing highly relevant information to each visitor.

One way to find these long-tail keywords is to look through your log files. Look for the phrases that people use to find your pages, and then create content that is more targeted to their requests.

Why i Cant make money Blogging???

In this post i ll give some ideas about themes to start your blog.
One of the most common error that a "noob" Blogger do its even before to start a Blog.
Some experienced Bloggers may have the same opinion.
I am going to relate my own experience.
Well when i started to read some articles saying that many people were getting rich or making some nice money with ads in blogs or websites...Hummm i must confess i went crazy, starting making plans where i gonna spend all that money,wich car i was going to buy,and so many more crazy ideas.
First error: Never think you going to be rich just for type some words in a blog and put some ads rolling.
In this world of ads i think not even 5% gain really good money.
Anyway to start a blog you got to have something to talk about(money business sex tech celebrities news) and so much more.
So what theme you think i get it for start??
Yes i choose to make a blog about sex.
That was my second error:Always choose something you can really know about it(of course i know many things about sex,but not how to blog it)
I start to put many videos in my Sex Blog,after a month did you can guess how many visitors i have???
2 yea lol i have 2 Brazilian guest visiting my website.
Work in something that you don't have experience gives bad results.
After this delusions i thought i got to make another one, and this time will be different.
But unfortunately i repeatedly make always same errors.
There was a time that a have more than 15 domains all kind of themes, and none of them give me money.
What i was doing wrong??
I was doing everything wrong from the start.

These simple SEO Tips will help you understand the basics and help you reach your online goals.

1. Title Tag

The Title Tag is located at the top of your html page and it tells the search engines what your page is about. When you open your page in a browser these are the words at the very top of the screen. Despite its simplicity, the title tag is crucial to 'on-page optimization'; it should include your main keywords and it should be 63 characters or less if you want your title to appear in full on Google.

2. Meta Description Tag

The Meta Tag contains the description for your web page. Your description will show up in all the search engines so you have to be careful to write precisely and objectively. It should be about 140 characters or around 20 words. Make sure to include your keywords but don't spam - don't repeat your keywords more than twice - using variations is helpful.
Keep in mind, successful webmasters make their descriptions stand out from the crowd and entice the surfer to click their link. It is also the first contact with your potential visitor or prospect so make a good first impression.

3. Anchor Tag or URL

The anchor tag is used to form links within websites or from site to site. This tag should have your title or the main keywords from your page title to be the most effective.

Anchor text is also important to know - these are the underlined, clickable text or words in a link.

4. Finding Backlinks

One of the keys to higher rankings is building quality links from relevant, related quality sites. The search engines, especially Google, count each link as a "vote" for your site or content. Many experts suggest you include your main keywords in the anchor text of these inbound links in order to rank high.

If you want to find the number of backlinks your site has.

Just type into Google Search: link:yourURL

and it will give you the number of backlinks you have.

Google doesn't give you all your existing backlinks, so you can try Yahoo! to find a more exact number.

Just open Yahoo! and type in: linkdomain:yourURL

5. Checking Indexed Pages

If is very important for you to know what content the search engines have indexed from your site. You can also check to see how your links are displayed and to see if any titles or descriptions are missing from your pages.

You can see how many of your pages are indexed in Google by using the site command.

Just type into Google Search: site:yourURL


6. Checking Google Cache

You can also check to see the Google Cache of your site by using the cache command. You will also discover when it was last retrieved.

Just type into Google Search: cache:yourURL


7. Finding Associated Keywords

Keywords are the heart of the Internet, you must dominate the search engines for your chosen keywords if you are to succeed online. So make sure you have your main keywords in the Meta Keyword Tag on your page. Many experts suggest you place your page's main keywords in the first and last 25 words on that page.

You must also be able to find and use variations of your keywords to completely conquer your targeted niche. To find what other keywords Google has associated with your main keywords, just use the tilde ~ command to find associated phrases in Google.

Just type into Google search: ~keywords

8. Finding Titled Keywords

If you want to find competing sites that have your keywords in the title just use the allintitle command.

Just type into Google search: allintitle:yourkeywords
